Mission Pack: Community Service
A downloadable RPG supplement
A surgeon stalks the halls of a hospital. A terrible goose threatens a community of equally terrible people. A smiling clown seeks revenge. And only the Agency stands between them and the corruption of all reality...
Welcome to Community Service, a collection of three potential missions for use in your own table games of Triangle Agency. The three missions contained within these pages offer a range of Anomalies from sympathetic to frustrating, each of which is in a different way preying on the residents of a small group of people who don’t have the ability to escape.
If you are a [player/Agent], you should not read these missions. It may create paradoxical foreknowledge of events that you will be taking part in, and thus diminish your enjoyment of those events. You may continue to read this Introduction, but if you read any further you must report this knowledge to your GM, who will determine the appropriate amount of Demerits to assign to you.
If you are a GM, however, you are in the right place! The following three Anomalies have been on the Agency’s radar for some time. Each of them was once active, then vanished only to re-appear again recently. Each of them is in the process of escalating their activities, in a way that is likely to lead to significant disruptions in local job markets, economic outlook, and continued aliveness.
This supplement contains the following three missions:
- Triage, in which an underfunded hospital is haunted by an Anomaly that seeks to grant people rest by taking injuries and diseases from terminal patients and placing them into other terminal patients;
- HONK, in which a small semi-gated community is plagued by an Anomaly that seeks to drive everyone present to lethal heights of frustration and rage by constantly undoing their work and turning them against each other; and
- The Bad Luck Gang, in which a high school reunion is attacked by an old Anomaly on the verge of Hollowing, a once-whimsical clown who seeks revenge on the five former teens who killed it and stole its power.
Each of these missions can be inserted into any Triangle Agency campaign, providing valuable work experience and potential rewards to your agents.
