Heuristic detection. They're guessing based on behavior and machine learning etc. Probably flagged the Opera installer because it's the net installer that fetches Opera's program files from Opera's servers. They probably wouldn't have a problem with Opera's offline package that includes the program files.

Opera's installer is also compressed with UPX to make it smaller. Some engines consider this malicious even when it's not.

Those detections all look like false positives to me.

It would get you off all the cache, history, download data, plus any malicious cookies or content that is preventing you to run google searches. Let me know if it helps! You may also try deleting the browser and reinstalling it to check if resolves the issue.

Which is not related to the browser or at least not directly. It was a website that i am using that was having pop up ad system which normally always blocked by Opera but seems they either changed something or my Opera got lazy so it started to show itself. Added it to the adblock list as an extra measure which now closes the pop up easily. Though why it didn't before i do not know. Anyway thank you for helping me.

"Good news everyone" - it took a while, but the bookmarks DID reload.😁

They are recovered. Praise the Lord!
And thank you Opera!

While I am aware that exporting and SAVING bookmarks (MANUALLY) is (supposedly) possible using the Opera browser for desktop/laptop computers, my question is:

Is there a way to export (and save to an html file) bookmarks from any of Opera's mobile browsers?

Real back-up always needs redundancy.

If you are reading this Opera developers, please understand:
Opera IS a great browser, but so many things can go wrong.
A simple export-to-html would solve the data loss risk, in my humble opinion.
