Musically, Fire Water "Twilight" sits at the crossroads of spiritual jazz, soul jazz, and atmospheric funk, with meditative grooves and arrangements reminiscent of Weldon Irvine, Roy Ayers, or Doug Carn. The instrumentation leans heavily on Fender Rhodes, warm and hypnotic basslines, subtle horn sections, and Afro-Latin percussion.
