This was a very deeply personal and uncomfortable read. The way days disappear in alcohol binges intermittently interrupted by either rage or shame, the way that the worst people for you in your current point of life approach and offer you hope to become something else, only to damage you permanently. All incredible and all deeply relatable. Thank you for your writing. I had to make an account simply to post this.

I loved this story so much. I feel so bad for Naomi
this is amazing. i've gone through similar shit and had similar reactions. while i was reading i just kept seeing the signs i missed, and i rememer how i began to heal. i know she's just a character, but i hope she heals well.
i wrote this from experience and writing down all the signs that i missed was fucking brutal.
OMG this hits like home, i have no alcohol addiction but it really ruins one brain. I'm happy that Naomi get at least one support tho this still doesnt excuse her action.

This hit a little too close to home, but I loved it.
I found this through one of the toxic Yuri game jams. And then I procrastinated playing it and then finally picked it up. I played it across the span of two days, sometimes procrastinating but also feeling so drawn back to it it was like a siren’s call, and then I just finished this before I ate my lunch.
I had an entire essay I wanted to write about my thoughts about everyone but all I can say is Man. Also Kiara really is the fucking GOAT. I had a dream about my ex abuser last night and though I don’t miss her the way that Naomi reacts is so painfully relatable
im not too sure if its intentional or me overthinking it but idk why but Julia and younger Naomi look so similar to each other in terms of looks and I’m not sure if that was on purpose? Also the moment Julia appears along with the TWS I already knew what was coming and in the best way it felt like a car accident you can’t look away from

The MARTA slander tag made me play this game instantly; I just pick up anything set in ATL. I like how the chat sections and regular VN sections are paced. Naomi's room being so dark contrasted a lot with the real world. It was disorienting in a good way, like how Naomi felt. The chats with Julia had me on edge. The way she used proper grammar was unnerving, and the contrast with how young Naomi typed made me even more dreadful about when the other shoe would inevitably drop. The mirroring of how in the beginning Naomi tells Cynthia her room is upstairs, first door on the right, and then Julia tells Naomi the exact same thing. Amazing game, congrats on winning first place and 1,000 downloads, you deserve it.
oh my god an atlanta native read this, im so glad!! it makes me happy that you noticed the difference in typing style, i spent a lot of time tweaking that. that being said the mirroring of naomi and julias rooms was completely unintentional haha, i guess i default to that when writing. that being said maybe ill say its intentional from now on, it's a very neat detail :3
so damn good, the writing and pacing were both splendid and the messages are used perfectly for conveying the story. didn't expect it to grab me so intensely

this was very relatable and stressful to me. it really did feel like my time as an 18 year old. the use of the long flashback and the change of format to being mostly message focused was very good.. a very good choice.
the music and sound choices are very good. also your art is really delightful. i cried quite a bit afterwards, but i really love when stories make me cry!

fue muy interesante, me mantuvo cautivo frente a la pantalla esperando que continuaria sucediendo. fue una historia triste, me dejo con un leve vacio y solo pude empatizar con nuestra protagonista. el arte, el soundtrack y el guion estuvieron muy bien dirigidos. una buena vn para pasar el rato y deprimirse un poco

this is painful and beautiful. juggling these topics is a hard story to tell but you made it in a way that resonates. i quite like the presentation of the story itself basically being a ptsd flashback. i liked seeing the characters change, especially the one with the protagonist and her roommate. good job thanks for making this
