A beautiful red fox pauses amongst the rocks he's hunting in. These gorgeous animals were not nearly as prevalent in the Churchill area when I first started coming here in the early 90's. Back then it was mostly the arctic fox we saw and loved. As the arctic warms, the red fox have been moving north displacing the smaller arctic fox. It's simply amazing how many red we see and how few arctic fox we see today. Shot with the Olympus E-M1X and the 150-400mm zoom
