Mulasaki Ima is a 23-year-old next-generation creator who writes, composes, arranges, sings, and produces everything herself—from artwork to music videos.
Rooted in gospel and African music from childhood, she commands a five-octave range with a signature husky tone, seamlessly shifting between shouts, vocal riffs, and whistle notes.
Debuted in 2023 with her digital single “Golden Time.” In 2024, “femme fatale A” and in 2025, “That Classmate” each surpassed 10 million YouTube views, while her total SNS views for the two tracks exceeded 1 billion.
Her first solo concert, “Mulasaki Ima LIVE 2024 ‘Episode 0’,” sold out in both Tokyo and Osaka. Her 2025 solo show “Backrooms Parade” also sold out. She performed at COUNTDOWN JAPAN for two consecutive years (2024–2025), wrote lyrics for ILLIT’s “Toki Yo Tomare" in 2025, and made her international festival debut at WONDERLIVET in Korea.
