I've played this more times than I care to admit

(+1)

Fun smooth and satisfying. Wishlisted!

Appreciate it!

(1 edit)

The game got stuck when I tried to open the shopkeeper and I had to restart :(

Oh no :( I'm so sorry for this bug. I'll try to replicate it and added to our backlog.
Sadly there's no save system right now, but next build will likely have.

doesnt boot.

Windows or Mac version?

(+1)

Lots of fun! Thanks for letting me play!

(+2)

Super fun and game feel is great. Loved getting the lightning strikes leveled up thats what made everything click for me. Found it a little frustrating that pink slimes look so similar to green slimes after being hit a few times. I think a different color of damage indication for those more valuable slimes would be very helpful. Keep up the good work!

When you put your cursor on the very bottom right of an upgrade square in fullscreen mode, the dialog box start spinning. This is the funniest bug I have seen in a while and I thank you for that ! Fun game however :)

(+1)

That was actually a lot of fun! Gave me inspo for new games! Thank you so much for your work!
ive noticed some bugs but i think in that stage of the game its normal :)
Very very funny and enjoyable game

Best thing i can tell you is to make the screenshake a bit less.
Gave me motion sickness at one point xD But i still played till the end!

keep up the work! :D

This game is amazing! Can't wait for full release. I LOVE the shop-keep line about giving discounts to girls with swords. Good game and gay shop-keep is a 10/10 in my book.

(+1)

Helga is the GOAT :')

(+2)

Great fun! Nice vibes and lovely lighting effects add to the atmosphere. Looking forward to a full release and interested in the mechanics of different classes! Signed up on the above sheet - can't wait!

(+1)

And we can't have to share more with YOU :D

We have plan for four classes mechanics, one being a secret one (!). Stay tuned!

SO FUN OMG also i realized you should do something about those mixels and the screen shake

oh yeah! Mixels are everywhere on the prototype. Time constraints :(

but art and UI will be massively improved in the full version, and also the official demo. Stay tuned on the mailing list at the description :)

Fun short game. That screen shake is INTENSE. Gonna need an option to turn that down or off.

I agree it's a little too crazy right now. You can turn it off on the pause menu (ESC), but I want to have options eg None / Light / Normal

Ah, my bad I didn't see that cuz I was playing full screen in the browser and ESC just took it out of fullscreen

(1 edit)

Not your bad, definitely an oversight on my end! I'm adding a button to open the settings menu and will update the game in about an hour, specifically to address your feedback :)

(+1)

quite fun! Signed up on the sheet and looking forward to supporting on Steam as the page gets approved!!

(+1)

so happy you liked it! Stay tuned, I'm preparing cool things for the people on the mailing list :)

(+1)

Very fun concept, reminds me of Astro Prospector (Which I Love). Also, I found a UI bug for the buttons that have the quick rotate animation while hovering over them. When you hover your mouse on the very top bound of any button that is clickable the animation repeats nonstop. When doing this for a button the shows an text box above, Like the upgrade buttons, that text box rotates around the button.

We let this bug for the prototype due to time constraints, but yeah it's a bit annoying. Also sometimes hilarious lol!

(+2)

the ability to keep playing after killing the king slime would be nice

We're cooking a new prototype that will allow that! The form to get into the short list of testers is here ~> https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1z2z4FJqWP0v1eXEX8BF0pQU55o3l8n-FMUryGboYd7E/edi...

submitted thoe a discord would probebly be better

We have one! 😎

Really cool! this game is making it big for sure. I was just checking how people made upgrade buttons animations to replicate it and ended up having 30m of fun lol.
One question as a dev, why did you make a google form to gather a mailing list instead of just making a steam page to gather wishlists?
Aren't wishlists better as they also influence the steam algo for the better?

(+1)

Also, the sound of gaining money when you kill a slime is not set as part of the mixer correctly (You can hear it even when master is set to zero). Don't ask me how I know XD

(+1)

Good catch on the sound! Adding to our list of bugs.

I'm still pending approval on the steam page - this game was initially a prototype to check if there's interest. It seems there is :)

Would love your thoughts on the future builds if you signed up to the mailing list! (link is here, btw ~> https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1z2z4FJqWP0v1eXEX8BF0pQU55o3l8n-FMUryGboYd7E/edi...)

The Radio tower, saw that if video is made you would like to see. Thank you for the game

Needs a super rare extra tough golden slime that prefers to spawn in the treeline last.

I think this is the rare occasion where 1 currency isnt enough as its just snowballs into mindless clicking. Maybe another slime that drops crystals that are used as a separate tree for the purely money upgrades, which wouldn't be essential. So the economy does not go 1-100-10k-20M

Right now its not a tree, its a rail as you can't really skip anything to progress.

But the style is great. Love the capybara chilling. Just more interactivity needed.

Oh, for sure! Progression is hyper-accelerated in the prototype. It's gonna be way more balanced in the full version!

We're also planning multiple maps, each with a gimmick. The second one most likely will be a desert, where there will be 'ore slimes' that also drop specific ores to upgrade your equipment with the Blacksmith.

Can't wait to have the 'Tried to hurt the capybara..." achievement

(+1)

I tried. Spent a round avoiding slimes too. A pacifist route in a slimekilling game would be fun. Green slimes becoming honey slimes after consuming pollen from hitting flowers, making area upgrade also non-essential. Creativity is the limit.

But yeah! Great dirrection! Lovely art choice. Keep it up!

Your idea of a slime that 'buffs' surrounding slimes on kill is going right on our roadmap 👀

(1 edit) (+1)

All's good until the upgrade that gives you +10000% gold from enemies. I guess it's just a placeholder for future upgrade path but it plummets the economy imo. Overall very satisfying experience. Nice!

P.S. I think it's obvious but no harm in saying this. I feel like having levels do something would add a lot to the game. Would need to nerf coin upgrades to account for the levelup buffs tho.

(+1)

For sure! It's a proof of concept, so I just wanted to end it with a bang - the full game will have a more balanced economy and even multiple levels/skill trees.

Leveling up will get you attribute points to put on a separate class-specified skill tree with cool upgrades :)

(+1)

Hi, i found a bug: when a monk double hit an enemy first time it will not change color depend on the health lost.

(+1)

A bug indeed! Thanks, I'll be fixing it :)

(+2)

Very chill music, cool visuals and very great juiceness!
Will definitely wishlist it and keep an eye on it.

(+1)

really interesting idea and fun

Thank you mate <3

Strong feel and aesthetics. Leveling up didn't seem to do anything and not having any options for building towards a particular strategy left it feeling a bit hollow after the early game.

Please, please include a way to toggle off or reduce the screenshake. As enemy density went up it became nauseating and I couldn't look at the screen.

Thanks a bunch! I'm aiming for a 'numbers go up' chill game where you just enjoy the ride of feeling powerful

There's already a toggle for screenshake on the web version and I'm updating the Windows/MacOS versions to have it too. I agree it's a little too agressive late game!

(+1)

very fun

Thanks! So happy you found it fun :)

(+2)

Cool game, It makes me want to try the full game and experiments with builds. Well done!

(+1)

Thank you so much <3
Do you think it could scale well for a 2~3 hour experience? More slime types, upgrades, NPCs, and maps!

You mean a 2-3 hour run? I don't know if I would make them last that long. The doubt that I have is bound to the core action of the gameplay which is hover above the enemies. If I think of other roguelikes, like The Binding of Isaac for example, the gameplay keeps the tension high with the enemies that you have to physically avoid. It might be interesting, given the gameplay that you implemented, to add enemies that you have to avoid, enemies that you have to kill in a specific order etc. I think that just hovering could be too repetitive the longer you play. Just my 2 cents of course, but I like the game and I'd try it again when more content is added, keep up the good work! <3
