Install guide:

  • PC: Just run the .exe. There's no need to install anything.
  • Android: Download and install the .apk. Might be necessary to allow install from "unknown sources" in the settings. If a window appear saying the app is not compatible, there might be an option that says "install anyway". This happens due the engine the game was made being a bit old.

 Why did nothing happen after I touched 10 times as Rurimon said in Digital Heroes 2? Does anyone know how to do it?

Have you found Rurimon for the first time in this game? it will only trigger this event once you have found it once in Digital Tamers 2

 My problem is because I played DigitalHeroes2 first, then updated DigitalTamers2 and played. I thought I just needed to touch it...

its been awhile since i last played, still a great game.
But i do also still remember and laught at how back a few months ago i got banned from the discord server for saying that Digimon = Ai, only for the new digimon season push exactly what i said. And how funny it is for some digimon fans there in that discord to hate ai so much that they could not cope that digimon = ai.
its still ALWAYS a funny story to tell

Amazing work done in this game. It still has a huge potential to evolve, one recommendation I would give is for players to be able to drop our digimon partner in an area so he can auto battle enemies in that area, that would hugely improve the grinding, we would still have to manage it for HP and make sure we don't drop him in a higher level area that he can handle, but otherwise it would help a lot to be able to skip those annoying 1hit KO battles that take more time loading than the battle itself. Another way of doing this would be for the game to check if the damage of 1 attack of our partner is > to the enemy's HP, and if so that would result in a auto win without going into the battle screen (just some ideas)

How do I use the Accelerator item? I have it in my inventory, as well as a Mega Digimon, but I simply don't understand how to use the object.

You need to go to the digivolution screen, if your digimon can evolve into an ultra level digimon, then you need to meet the requirements for the evolution, you need a certain amount of accelerators for some digivolution

Okay, thank you. I couldn't find the way, but I see now that Gallantmon and Ulforce V-dramon don't have Ultra Forms. That's a shame.

This could be a skill issue, because I think the game is promising, but the battles are so frustrating. It's like the AI has perfect timing against attacks so I'm just having *every* attack blocked and it feels like a time waste when I'm 2+ levels above the enemy and can't land a single one because they have infinite block and can spam jump/attack while I'm just having to sit here


Also, there's no tutorial for fighting. I didn't even really know the bottom left stuff was clickable buttons and was wondering why my dude wasn't doing much besides running up to the enemy and standing there. As long winded as the rest of the tutorials are, feeding, healing, etc having none for the core mechanic of the game was a bit weird

Really like what you’ve built — super inspiring.
I’ve been working on something similar called TWT Community, a tool that helps people easily build their own spaces to connect with their audience.
Maybe there’s a way for us to collaborate someday?

First, absolutely love this game. Only three days into my game and already I'm rocking a Kuzuhamon, and just raised a Dukemon.

Second, can we please do something with the excess Digimon Data we get from beating up wild Digimon? Like Loading them into Digimon we actually want to raise or deleting them gives us low-tier EXP boosting items?

It would also be nice to have the ability to manually ReBorn our Digimon, at least for those who are playing with ReBorn turned on. Because it's only NOW my Kuzuhamon is at Age 10 and she's about as strong as she can get.

Finally, when will Monmon/Koemon become a playable character? I want my funny monkey.

Hey, I love this project ! I'm really, really enjoying it, but I do have a couple of suggestions / issues. I can't quite tell how the Age of a digimon progresses - It almost seems to be based on real-time days, which makes the base cap of 50 really excessive for a game with progression that moves as quick as this one does. Dropping the cap to a smaller number or adjusting how age is accumulated might help this feature a little, or even having a Digimon World style age progression where each stage of a digimon has a different age cap, and perhaps the age could progress in increments of fifteen minutes, or half hours? So baby 1 would have an age cap of 10, progressed in increments of 30 minutes, that's about 5 hours, or in 15 minutes it's about 2.5 hours. Dropping the cap to 5 changes those estimates to 2.5 and 1.25 hours, respectively.

 Given the nature of the game being by save and not progressing or simulating (from what I can tell) when the game is closed, 1.25-2.5 active hours for a baby 1 or 2 stage is pretty forgiving. It would allow the ReBorn system to be utilized more often as a digimon grows, making it more of an active gameplay mechanic.

Some of the evolution requirements and recruitment requirements are also a little demanding and not super respectful of the player's time. 2k+ battles on just one digimon to digivolve is very steep. I do like the variance to the evolution requirements, and how specialized XP plays a role in quite a few of them. Keramon to Chrysalimon, for example, is about 1500 dark xp, which isn't too difficult to obtain by doing challenges. 

Having an option to way to Devolve a digimon would also be really great to make a chosen digimon feel more like a partner, expanding the training options.

Some varied minigame types for training would also be nice, but I do like the 'hit the mark' kind of thing that isn't too demanding of focus, and isn't time consuming at all, so that's not a negative for me. 

 I deeply enjoy collecting eggs and trying to see what I get, and fighting wild digimon. Some of the battles feel slightly unbalanced, but I'm not well versed in that aspect so I can't weigh in too heavily, and the hitboxes for digital world items and fish can be a little finicky.

One last suggestion is additional care objects, like a wood/stone hot spring bath or a bed-type object that accelerates energy gain when a digimon uses it, a functional decor toilet that could be crafted by one of the crafters, or some additional toys or skins for the ball. The bed would also be a nice way to maybe add in a function to  have a digimon get tired and need to sleep occasionally, the same way they  get hungry or bored, though I'm not 100% certain how that should work or how long a digimon should be asleep for since the game doesn't simulate while closed.

Keep up the good work, and thank you for everything you've done with this project. All in all, I am enjoying it greatly as it is now, and look forward to additional updates!

Ecstatic to see that this project is still active! Is there a way to transfer save data to a more recently installed version of the game on Android? Not the end of the world, but losing those hours of training and grinding would be a bit painful. If it's simply not feasible, then oh well.

Pretty cool! I've been needing something to kill time on my phone and this seems perfect. Would be cool if in the future you could add the three Sistermons (I see you've got Hackmon in already) and Ordinemon (I see you've got Ofanimon: Falldown Mode already) but there are plenty of other favorites of mine already in game for me to work towards as it is.

Hello their Dragonrod i have a question for you. I really enjoy this game but you see due to the limits of my tablet I'm only able to play the 32 bit version. I only found out recently that you dropped a Halloween update and was looking forward to playing it but the problem is that the 32 bit version hasn't been updated since April this year. I was wondering if the 32 bit version has been discontinued and if it hasn't, when will it be updated? Thank you for reading my message and happy early Halloween Dragonrod. 🎃

If you play both android and pc games, play this on android. No controller support. Windows is a mixed bag.
The latest download I had from earlier this year to play last week was what I thought was a normal exe (DigitalTamers02-V1.0.4), that didn't work. Now the creator switched to an installer. Not that biggest fan but it's whatevs, just install to the folder you want the game to exist in.

For Windows, mouse only, left click only. No way to quit out the game without using your keyboard. Oh yeah, you need a keyboard to quit, as the settings doesn't give that option.

Good game overall though outside of the experience of setting up. It hits those boxes of raising a pet on a mobile device, and being able to jump into different worlds. Here's some unlisted gameplay on Windows if you want to see before diving in

You can exit the game with the mouse by clicking the X button at the top-left of your main hub screen where your digimon walks around.

You're correct, I think because when I zoomed in (you can see me doing that at 32:11), the x disappears. I suppose that the X button is only available when zoomed out?

Maybe something to adjust in future updates because once I zoomed in there to see my digimons better I completely forgot I ever zoomed in after a few minutes (I played for another 20ish minutes before switching to a GameJolt Digimon RPG).

if anyone's game has been running slower since it changed from 32-bit to 64-bit in v1.0.8, try changing your phone's refresh to 60Hz or higher

i had mine on 48Hz to try and save power, but just today decided to try and change it to 60Hz. game runs as good as v1.0.7 now for me

Bruh, even Nintendo doesn't bother going after Pokemon fan games 99% of the time and even in those few rare cases when they have done so they start with cease&desist instead of lawsuit, like pretty much every other gaming company that feels the need to protect their IP. Even they realize that bullying fan games generally causes more harm than good for them as it just alienates the most dedicated fans.

I don't think it's impossible that this game receives it's own c&d one day, but no way Bandai is gonna sue the dev

Anybody knows how to change resolution to full screen to windowed or borderless in PC?

Hi there! Since i installed the 64-bit version on my phone (first the 1.0.8, then the 1.1.0), i have a rather loading screen compared to the 32-bit version, and worse, each changing screen is longer to load, and so are "autosaving" moments. Everything felt smoother on the 32-bit version.
Is it because the 64-bit version takes that much more ressources on the phone? Is it because of THE PHONE itself? Or is that just something that will be optimized later?
What about you guys? Felt that kind of change since you switched from 32-bit to 64-bit? Or is it just me?

The same thing happens to me and it closes every 5 or 10 minutes

In the end, i disabled Auto-save and things are slightly better. Certainly not as nice as when it was on 32-bit, but i take it my phone musn't be recent enough to make it smooth.

That loading screen when i start the game tho....a Playstation-like sound would make it more digest.

Digitamas found in the wild are malfunctioning.

They all have the "regular digitama" icon, and no name or data.

To be clear, I'm referring on the eggs in "Village of Beginnings".

I should also add that the eggs do not hatch.

where's the exe? Why is it only installers now? I play on linux, it gets a little messy to use an installer with wine

You can extract the exe, just fyi. It's cab format embedded in the exe. Most archive managers will handle it. I just extracted it with 7zip on Windows. (Also you can use innoextract if you ever need to extract gog installers or other installers made with innosetup.)

The only other thing the setup seems to optionally install is a runtime package. Don't remember which one, but an error message should tell you if it's actually needed or not and you can install it with winetricks instead.

Man I have not been able to game in awhile and I got this working on my Chromebook via side loading the apk with Linux. So much fun and I just started my Veemon swinging like Floyd Mayweather 🤪

Please consider a version where the screen flashes black instead of white, because of brightness most screens are dark and I need to up the brightness, only to get a flashbang to the eyes before and after each battle. Eyes would really appreciate it && thank you for the amazing work

Es una aplicación aparte en pocas palabras y en las notas del parche del 1.0.8 te explica como importar tu partida a la nueva aplicación.

Considera leer esas notas y descargarte directamente la ultima versión para hacer la importación

How do we find our digi's battle stats? Trying to evo a Gaioumon, which needs 3k digi beat, but when I evo'd my Ginryumon to hisyaryumon it's win percentage seemed to have reset (0% & when I won 1 battle, it went to 100%). -- Was going to work on the defeat using my tamer info, but now no clue if it's tracking properly.

Please put the digital tamers 1 evolution page back up. Still trying to finish it and now I can't find anything except on guide made back before the Olympus 12 was added and many game details. Or can you give me a link to one that has all of them?
