Iphone 17 Pro System Data using 500 of my 512 GB

Hello I woke up this morning trying to get car play to work, it wouldnt work so my silent drive allowed me to reflect. Just kidding but when I got to work my phone was not responsive and said my memory was all gone. I turned off and on and i gained enough to do the current update I now have 153 being used at this current moment. Does this seem ok? I am not a phone head so I dont have a lot saved to iphone storage. 3 gb of photos and 3 gb of messages and the list goes down from there.

Are you saying System Data is taking up 500 GB of your total storage on your iPhone? If yes, something is corrupt and what would be recommended is to backup your iPhone, preferably to your computer, then restore your iPhone from backup.
