This is one of our favorite Korean banchan, and perfect for lazy cooks!  🌱KOREAN SOYBEAN SPROUT SIDE DISH (Kongnamul-muchim)  Ingredients: 300g soybean sprouts 1 tsp salt  Seasoning: 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tsp sesame seeds  📒 Directions 1. Bring water to a boil (enough water to cover bean sprouts) and add 1 tsp of salt. 2. Add beansprouts and cook for about 1 min. Once softened, submerge beansprouts in an ice bath. 3. Gently shake water off the bean sprouts and transfer them into a bowl. 4. Add seasonings and mix well. That’s it!

This banchan (korean side dish) is delicious and easy to make! All you need to do if peel and cut your potatoes into small cubes, soak in water and wash away the starch then braise it in soy sauce, water, minced garlic, soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, sesame oil and brown corn syrup for 10-15 mins until the sauce thickens and finish with sesame seeds.
