This simple tip was a gamechanger for me when I was learning how to do push ups.  A push up is simply a plank...that's moving.  When our knees are bent and weight is in our toes, the push up requires much more upper body strength  But when our knees are locked out, glutes are squeezed, and weight is in our toes,  Our bodies are rigid...making push ups easier👌  🔥Bonus tip:  As you learn to keep your body as rigid as possible, practice one push up at a time; this means...do one push up, then rest.  Then another push up, then rest.  This way, you'll train perfect push ups each and every repetition.  • .  • .  • What's your relationship with push ups?  Love them or complicated relationship?

A lot of you have said that you’re struggling getting your push ups so I’m here to help! I wanted to make this vid to show how many different types of push ups there are so y’all can experiment with what you like most

I personally like tricep push ups the most because I have a suuuper weak chest (I’m working on it!!) but some people HATE tricep push ups😂

So if you’re new to the gym or to push ups, play around with what style you like best. Feel free to go crazy and try one-handed, diamond, etc. but I will happily admit I’m not advanced enough for those🤣😅

You'll want your hands to be right next to your hips while at the bottom of the push-up.

One of the quickest ways to alleviate wrist pain in push ups is to ensure there is even pressure on the wrist.

If you notice that, during the push up, you are rolling to the outside of your hand, this will create uneven pressure on the wrist.

Spread all the fingers out to create a broader base of support; this will minimize your ability to roll to the outside of your hand.

Think about grabbing the floor with your fingers as you pull into the push up and as you return to the start position.
