Push ups are HARD. Let’s make sure your form is on point to make them the most effective! 

First, please know that any form of push up is still a push up!! If you need to start on your knees, that’s GREAT! It took me a while to be able to do regular push ups. Be proud of every stage you’re in with your fitness journey.

Ok back to some cues👇🏻
 • ✅ position hands at chest or bra line level
 • ✅ elbows tucked back in W shape
 • ✅shoulders down away from ears
 • ✅ pushing through the chest vs pushing through the arms

✅ keep head and spine in line, core TIGHT- no arching your back or letting that head drop/crank up

One of the quickest ways to alleviate wrist pain in push ups is to ensure there is even pressure on the wrist.

If you notice that, during the push up, you are rolling to the outside of your hand, this will create uneven pressure on the wrist.

Spread all the fingers out to create a broader base of support; this will minimize your ability to roll to the outside of your hand.

Think about grabbing the floor with your fingers as you pull into the push up and as you return to the start position.
