Introducing E_E_E – a striking new alias and chapter from London’s ELLES, one of the underground’s most distinctive voices. In contrast to the atmospheric ‘tears-in-the-club’ melancholia of some of ELLES previous work, E_E_E embraces maximalist club sonics, empowered lyricism and the fierce energy of queer hedonism.

Refocusing on bold dancefloor catharsis and sounds that energise as much as they provoke, E_E_E's sonic palette draws on Peaches by way of SOPHIE, New Beat via Miss Kittin, big front-woman energy and no-BS bangers. "E_E_E is a kind of sonic tooling up, I want people to feel energised and empowered to face whatever messed up sh*t they’re dealing with".

Making her debut on Clasico with ‘SWETTT’ – a blistering bass-heavy intro to the world of E_E_E, that ricochets through electroclash, Dance Mania and recession pop references and will leave you panting for more. It’s pumping body music for the dark room at a femme leather rave, that wants you "hot, gorgeous and dripping til your face (and everything else) glows".

E_E_E says: "the new sound is a departure from previous work and an honouring of it at the same time. ‘SWETTT’ is about celebrating being in the glistening moment, full pump mode. If we’re getting wet it’s not cos we’re crying, if you know what I mean. I was in full flow for the new project when Clasico got in touch, it’s a great label so it was a no-brainer - plus I’ve released predominantly on FLINTA-owned imprints, so to maintain that tradition launching this new project was both important and exciting.”

With big plans on the horizon and plenty more to come, ‘SWETTT’ is a tantalising peek into what E_E_E has up her sleeve in this exciting new era. Essential peak-time gear that will have you mopping your brow all summer!
