Roadschoolers met the NLP Master…Bro Rizal Hassan.

Muhammad: Uncle Mohd Rizal Hassan, how long is a Chinese name.
Uncle Rizal: 2? 3? Hmmm…I give up. Tell me.
Muhammad: It was not a question. It was a statement.
Uncle Rizal: LOL.
Muhammad managed to sell his Roadschooling Jokes on Wheels book to Uncle Rizal for RM10 but Alhamdulillah, he got extra RM40 because he taught Uncle Rizal a new joke.
Last time I counted there are 170 jokes in the book…so..(calculator please!)…

Kelas Robotik di Carrefour Kota Damansara

Rezeki!

Ibu bapa di kawasan Kota Damansara, boleh bawa anak-anak merasai pengalaman membina robot sendiri.

SESI PERCUMA ditawarkan.

Anak-anak saya seronok dan teruja (termasuk yang perempuan – Maryam dan Sarah).  InshaAllah, anak-anak anda juga akan ‘bahagia’ bersama robot masing-masing.

Satu sesi = 2 jam.

Walk – in = RM 48.00 sahaja

Tiada fungsi selain mencantikkan robot.

Awas!  Cantik tidak semestinya lemah.  Robot betina ciptaan Sarah mendapat tempat kedua 🙂

Homeschool module 012012: Supersize our brain!

It’s a cold Sunday morning. It brings such a good memory. The only time we ever had our breakfast at McDonald was a few months ago and it was a rainy morning. The kiddos crave for McMuffin, Hash Brown and the ‘happy’ ambience at warong Mek Jono. But today, things are going to change…hopefully.
Today’s Homeschool module is…movie time. Presenting…Supersize Me!

So far, Muhammad and Musa survived. Too boring for Maryam and Sarah only ran back to watch when she heard catchy sound effects or music from the movie. Their assignments nevertheless, including Sarah is to write a movie review in their blogs. They may end up not wanting McD anymore or they might say I’m lovin it more than ever. For us, it’s the learning process that counts.

We love movies and we make sure we learn from all movies that we watch. We watch most of our movies in the car although it made the dizzy but it’s the best time to watch and brainwash with our ideologies. Pausing every now and then to elaborate and to answer mostly Musa’s out of context curiousity.

Can’t wait to read on what they have to say about the movie. Will there be a paradigm shift? or will they still wish that their next meal will be at McDonald’s?

Karate training at home – Full Gi

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Since we moved to Kota Damansara our kids have not had the chance to regularly attend their Karate sessions. It’s quite a loooong drive, almost boleh jama’ qasar.  We try to make sure they still remember the moves (ka ta) so that they can attend the next grading.

The moment the full gi is donned, the feel and aura of Karate helps them to practice seriously. especially with the sound of the gi everytime they punch and kick. Sarah hasn’t been a formal student yet, hence she’s quite free to wear whatever she likes. Don’t ask about the green belt she’s wearing.

The best part is the teaching session, Musa helps Maryam and Muhammad handles Sarah… ‘ Sempai ‘ as they call it. The best way to understand what they have learnt is to teach. We had fun kiyai-ing…
