Written by the director himself, the story revolves around Sprite, a 20-year-old young adult who returns home to Chelles following a break-up. In order to pay for his driving licence and satisfy his parents, he joins the ranks of Allo Nettoyo, a night-time cleaning start-up in the Paris region. Unable to get around the city without his licence, he adopts his driving instructor’s "baise-en-ville" [“overnighter”, or literally “town-fuck”] technique, which involves spending the night at the homes of girls he meets on an app. But Sprite struggles with this new approach to seduction…

Baise-en-ville is produced by Emmanuel Chaumet on behalf of Ecce Films, in co-production with France 2 Cinéma. Also pre-purchased by Netflix, the feature film is supported by way of a CNC advance on receipts and further backed by the Gan Film Foundation and the SOFICA company Cineventure. Other sources of support include Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire (in the form of a writing subsidy) and Procirep-Angoa. The eight-week film shoot will unfold in the Paris region, with distribution in French cinemas entrusted to Le Pacte.
