After extraordinary success at the box office this past season, Cortellesi’s movie has been rewarded with a flood of Nastri d’Argento awards, exceptionally in all categories, both artistic and technical. The winners were screenwriters Cortellesi herself, Furio Andreotti and Giulia Calenda; lead actors Valerio Mastandrea, Romana Maggiora Vergano, Emanuela Fanelli, Giorgio Colangeli and Vinicio Marchioni (the latter was also awarded the Persol Charactor of the Year Prize); the production team; Davide Leone for photography; Valentina Mariani for editing; Lele Marchitelli who composed the film’s original score; Paola Comencini for set design; Alberto Moretti for costumes; Filippo Porcari and Federica Ripani for sound; and Laura Muccino and Sara Casani for their casting prowess. And three special trophies not usually forming part of the Nastri d’Argento category list were awarded to interior decorator Fiorella Cicolini, make-up artist Ermanno Spera, and hairstylist Teresa Di Serio.
No fewer than 5 Nastri awards (in addition to a trophy for the film’s producers) were bestowed upon Michele Riondino’s Best Debut Film, Palazzina Laf [+lee también:
