Pernille Fischer Christensen

Born in Copenhagen on 24.12.1969, she studied at the Danish Film School in Copenhagen. Both her graduation film, INDIEN, made in 1999 with Trine Dyrholm, and her subsequent short film HABIBTI MIN ELSKEDE (2002), were shown at international film festivals and received several awards.
EN SOAP (with Trine Dyrholm) received the Jury Grand Prix during the 2006 Berlinale Competition as well as an award for best debut film. (source: Berlin Film Festival)
