series profile], among other works), the story revolves around Karine and Jimmy, a tight couple whose lives are upended when Karine takes part in the social revolt which is rocking the nation...
Les Braises is produced by Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber on behalf of 24 25 Films (of Mediawan Group) in co-production with Wild Bunch (who are also managing distribution in French cinemas), France 3 Cinéma, Atelier de Production, Kallouche Cinéma, Les Films Velvet and Srab Films. Pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+ and France Télévisions, the feature film also enjoys support from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
The seven-week film shoot will press on until 2 December in Île-de-France and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (specifically in Limoges and Angoulême) with Belgium’s Christophe Beaucarne (awarded the 2022 César in his speciality for Lost Illusions [+see also:
