Boy do I. I own a $5,000 guitar (what I originally paid for straight-grain Brazilian Rosewood Martin replica by Dennis Overton) and I didn’t even notice it was gone for years. Now that’s mostly me being an idiot and not playing guitar as my primary instrument, but still, it’s very telling a cheap ass Yamaha was to me an un-noticable difference. I wrote then:
