This concept is incomprehensible to a person limited by body and mind, because the terminology we use does not include the appropriate terms. In our understanding, a "Person" means a being living separately, having its own physical existence, separate from others. In the case of the Trinity, however, we are dealing with God - an omnipotent, omniscient Spirit, unlimited by space (omnipresent) and time (he was before time came into being). Understanding His essence will therefore always exceed our cognitive capabilities. God himself says about himself:"[...] for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord, (9) for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts"(Isaiah 55:8-9).
