02/09/25: New version updated on web browser! This is an enhanced version of the original O2A2 game (1k words), with added VA, translation in Chinese & Ukrainian, new SFX and bug fixes. Also, you can now have fun playing music with the menu buttons when hovering over them :)
Extended script version on the way, to be updated in early 2026! This one will feature new endings and achievements.
Tonight marks your wedding night and the first meeting with your husband. You don't lament it though. Fate gave you an absolutely alluring and seemingly gentle groom. When he serves you a cup of bridal wine, you happily comply…only to drop dead on the floor.
The next time you open your eyes, you find yourself back at the same table. Your murderer once again smilingly offers you a cup of poisoned wine.
Change his mind to survive the night! A few calculated moves and sweet talking might do the trick. Unless you try to…poison him?

The sprite art, bg, and UI are just stunning. I think this has got to be the best-designed UI I've seen for any indie game, period. High praise, I know, but it's just that beautiful and clever.
Cal's sprite art is drop dead (lol) gorgeous as usual, and Furen's voice is very handsome but just a teeny bit annoying. In the most perfect way!!! Seeing as he kills us multiple times 💀 or maybe just me because I kept stupidly dying the same ways LOL.
I love his in-game title changes that reflect that as well as the conversation/lives/time goes on 😂😂😂
12/10 game I need to slap him but also smooch him, and I need to inject this gorgeous art into my veins

The names are my favorite part as well! A pity some players never get to see them, because you have to start a new clean run from the main menu, and not through loading a saved slot 😅

the most beatiful and most appealing gui and artstyle ive seen everything is so good even if it just has one asset , i wish this game was expanded more upon it has so much potential its perfect♥️
Gorgeous main menu/GUI. The name changes were funny. Did not expect the mini-game, added to the tension.
Finished all endings and loved each one. Excited to see how the story branches out in the future! Can we get a power couple option maybe 🤔

Hahaha I loved that drama too! Queen is so funny. Although if you want other drama recs along the same vibes as this game, I'd say Love between Tiger and Rose is probably closer (it's also historical comedy if you haven't watched it yet).
If only this was longer... Such a wonderful game though!!!

Awww thank you so much! ^^ We got a new mini update out earlier this month with voice acting, new SFX (you can play music with the menu buttons now XD) and translations. We've also been working on the longer extended version with more endings and achievements, hopefully we'll be able to get it out soon!
That was so much fun! I love how much interactivity there is. The way the sprites and camera move are done so well and really bring the game to life. The main menu is so charming. I really enjoyed this one
Wow! Everything is wonderful! The art - his sprite, the background, the user interface - how those red lanterns light up and sound effects, this itch page - the whole game is designed so well! Yuno - great writing! Those programming transitions so smooth. I loved him moving to sit at the table. So clever! What a masterpiece!

Hahaha we also laughed a lot when giving him all these names. Originally we had even more names planned for him, but had to cut down the number to fit the jam’s word count restrictions. We may put back some of the names which didn’t make the cut in the extended version. I’m glad that you had fun playing it, just as we did when making it too ^^

I got ending #2 2nd try, absolutely peak game. The art was really pleasing, and I loved the mechanics for poisoning or switching the cups.
