Books are doors to worlds unseen… but what if they also show us the world we live in, in a whole new light? ✨📖🌿 This dreamy jungle scene is part of my new picture book research, where I explore the magic of books—how they ignite our imagination, open our eyes to beauty, and fill our hearts with wonder. I used oil pastels, coloured pencils, and a touch of mineral spirit to create these luminous layers of colour, capturing the richness of nature and the depth of a child’s imagination.
