Happy Birthday Mary!

I've kept up with my sketchbooking since starting up again last year. I'm being a bit less precious with pages these days and filling them up with ideas more quickly. There's a mix of themes in this compilation as I've been jumping back and forth between a few different things - studies, experiments, patterns, and character doodles. I've been neglecting my sketchbooks a bit lately as my iPad and Apple Pencil combo has become more convenient for rough work. My sketchbooks haven't disappeared from my workflow though and I'm still using them for playing with traditional media and enjoying time away from my screens.
