Max Kutner 2227 is one of the most deeply satisfying listening experiences I've had in my life. The aspect of EDO tuning systems is really only one fascinating component of the soundworld Brendan makes here. From beginning to end, he manages to either advance or joyfully subvert pretty much every cool direction guitar-based writing has taken over the past 20 years. There is a new direction offered on every cut here and the production and mastering are absolutely exquisite throughout. Truly inspiring! Favorite track: Chromawaves.
