Write with us Whether you’re new to writing or an experienced poet here to up-level your craft, we offer a variety of educational programming year-round including: multi-week workshops, craft labs, free community groups and our year-long Mentorship Program.

Visit our space Located in historic Brooklyn Heights, our space at 144 Montague Street is open to the public Friday–Saturday and, in addition to hosting our free community groups and other programming, serves as a free community space and bookstore. Come by anytime!

Attend an event We offer a range of poetry events in Brooklyn and online. In addition to book launches and special events, our regular programming includes our Reading Series and our monthly Yawp, a poetry workshop & open mic. We also highlight the work of our students, teachers and fellows with seasonal showcases.

Registration is now open for our summer workshops—act fast as space is limited. Our small, intensive poetry workshops are taught by award-winning poets, both online and in person at 144 Montague Street in historic Brooklyn Heights!
