Thomas P. Franczyk was a judge for the Erie County Court in New York. He has served in this position since 2008, following his election. His term ended in 2017.[1]

Education

Franczyk received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1982.[1][2]

Career

Franczyk began his career in 1982 as an Assistant District Attorney of Erie County. He worked in this position until 1996. He also served as an associate attorney at the private firm of Damon & Morey in 1985. In 1998, he became a judge of the Buffalo City Court. He was then appointed to the Buffalo County Court in 2007, where he served until he joined the Erie County Court the following year.[1]
