Thomas M. Madden (1907-1976) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Madden was nominated by President Harry Truman on October 9, 1945, to a seat vacated by John Boyd Avis; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 23, 1945, and received commission on October 25th. He served as chief judge from 1961-1968. He assumed senior status on January 1, 1968, and served in that capacity until his death on March 29, 1976.[1] Madden was succeeded in this position by Leonard Garth.
