T.W. Patch was one of five members of the Alaska Regulatory Commission. During his tenure, he also served as the chair of the commission.[1]
Biography
Patch is admitted to practice law in both Iowa and Alaska. He arrived in Alaska in 1974 after service with the United States Air Force in various capacities and was assigned as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the 21st Air Base Group at Elmendorf Air Force Base.[1] He was also designated for special duty with the Alaskan Command.[1]

Political career
Alaska Regulatory Commissioner (2010-2016)
Patch was one of five current Regulatory Commissioners in Alaska. Prior to the end of his term, Patch served as commission chair.[1] At the beginning of 2016, Gov. Bill Walker informed Patch that he would not be reappointed to a second term. Instead, Walker named Rebecca Pauli to the commission.
Patch previously served as an administrative law judge for the state regulatory commission prior to his appointment by Gov. Sean Parnell.[1]
