Jonathan H. Pittman is an associate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.[1] President Donald Trump (R) nominated Pittman to the court March 9, 2017. The U.S. Senate confirmed Pittman on a voice vote January 25, 2018, for a fifteen-year term on the court.[2]

At the time of his nomination, he was an assistant deputy attorney general in the civil litigation division of the office of the attorney general of the District of Columbia.

Education

Pittman earned his B.A. in economics from Vassar College in 1985 and his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1990.[1]

President Donald Trump (R) nominated Pittman March 9, 2017, to serve as an associate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia succeeding Judge Jeanette Clark. The United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs held hearings on Pittman's nomination September 12. U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) reported his nomination November 9. The U.S. Senate confirmed Pittman on a voice vote January 25, 2018.[2]
