Joe Beyer
Joe Beyer was the Illinois acting director of labor. He was named to the statewide position by Governor Bruce Rauner (R) in April 2017 and served in this position until January 2019.[1][2] He succeeded acting director Anna Hui in the office.
Biography
Beyer received his B.S. in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.[1]
