David G. Stone previously served as the acting Alaska Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development. Stone was appointed by Governor Sean Parnell to fill-in as the acting commissioner until a permanent appointment was made.^[1] Dianne Blumer was appointed in May 2012 as the new Commissioner.^[1] Stone is now the deputy commissioner of labor.^[1]
