Great naughties album. The midrange is improved with remixing but some tracks have a severe lack of bass, such as World Pretending and Sell It to the World. Lack of bass really decreases a song’s impact in rock music.
Gotta be one of the easiest music artists to support with a “yes” and a purchase. Rear View has an immortal, classic sound —a sound that never gets old for me.
This was one of the albums at the end of metal's best days. Sotiris shows here why he was one of the best metal guitarists of the 90s. For more complexity, listen to Septic Flesh's earliest albums.
Very memorable album despite the dumb groovy parts of songs. See also: Requiem for Mankind by Memoriam. I love the drumrolls and riff after the 3rd minute of Those Once Loyal that lead to the outro.
