FAQs

Who can get access to Rovo?
  

Rovo will be available to customers with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise Cloud plan of Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, or Teamwork Collection.

Does Rovo require AI?
  

AI is automatically activated for all products on Premium and Enterprise plans, including Rovo. If your organization is not ready for AI, organization admins can deactivate it.

If you deactivate AI, Rovo's core apps like search and studio will still work, but AI-powered features including Rovo Chat and Rovo agents will be unavailable.

How is Atlassian protecting customer data?
  

We apply our Privacy Principles and company values to Rovo, just as with everything else we do. We’re passionate about creating meaningful data controls, choices, and notices to foster open collaboration and deeper teamwork.

If my organization is currently using Data Center, is Rovo available to me?
  

To fully leverage all of the AI features of Rovo, including search, chat, agents, and studio, an Atlassian Cloud Premium or Enterprise plan is required.

If your organization is not yet ready to move to the cloud, Rovo Data Center connectors for Confluence Data Center and Jira Data Center (coming soon) enable seamless data synchronization between Data Center and cloud environments, allowing customers to leverage cloud-based AI features while maintaining their existing infrastructure.
