I mostly say the bugs so the team are aware of them. Firstly, there are a lot of issues with queuing, for instance it dragging the menu behind it, although that may have been fixed, as well as play next putting the “next” song before the song that would have been next until you changed the queue order. It might be better to be able to hold the play button and have it show a small version of the up next list and you can move the song up or down it, instead of only having two options.

I dislike how whenever Apple makes a mistake and cancels your subscriptions, it won’t keep track of what songs you’ve downloaded. This has happened twice, and I hate having to redownload them all. Is it that hard to keep track of what you keep deleting from *my* phone? However the app has excellent support and UI, and the problems are rarely left alone. I think it is a very good app made by a frustrating company.

Hopefully the Music development team read these reviews… Hi developers there is a major issue with streaming music on a cellular connection. This issue has been present for many many months if not a year or more. A full phone reboot fixes it for a very short time but it quickly reappears so it is incredibly frustrating. The error can be seen when streaming a playlist of songs that are not already downloaded. It appears as a constant cycling through tracks with none playing, eventually a 'Request timed out' error is shown. This is not a speed related issue it happens on a 5g 200mb connection where the songs can be manually downloaded in an instant and then played. If a playlist happens to include a previously downloaded song those play before the cycling continues. This happens to colleagues as well so is not isolated. Given a reboot fixes it for a short time, it seems unlikely it is a network provider issue like the network blocking Apple music or similar. I would be willing to help debug this issue with you to solve this very frustrating issue. I am an iPhone developer since 2008 so have a technical background. Please note this is not an intermittent or rare issue. For those of us who experience it, Apple music simply does not work on a cellular connection. Really love it, the only app that I actually use for music. It’s absolutely amazing being able to access local radio and listen to radio stations that are curated by artists personal likings as well as having radio stations tailored to me. I love the animated cover art which just makes the visual aspect and experience of this application so much more immersive, it is like enhancing the aspect of visuals in sound so that you become even more captivated with the artists intent. Spatial audio is an amazing feature to incorporate into the application and is well worth the hype - it adds the next biggest thing to sound ever since stereo.
Overall the application has some amazing features and content - however I do ask that the app be optimised to be a little less buggy.
Therefore I give this five stars for content, features and UI, however please do keep in mind the fluidity of the overall experience is by no means perfect at all.
