Do not get involved with this application. Unless you have spare money to donate. Once you want to take your money out, they will find ways as to why your transfers will fail. There is no one to call, except the messenger. They can’t even read what you are asking and take a while to review your account. I had to jump through hoops to get the information they need, just to withdraw my own money. Per their team, it is Bank Secrecy Act. More information is required. I had to repeat my situation multiple times, since they requested items I could not provide, such as statements from bank account I no longer do my banking. As I finally made 4 calls to my bank, personally visited them, got image retrieval (since a statement from my bank that all my accounts are closed was not sufficient). I had to spend more time with Albert app that did not accept 4 file images because the file was now too big! I tried various ways to submit that 4 page statement, even allowing the app to use my camera, or selecting images. Nothing worked, file too big, convert to PDF (while this is a mobile app!!!) so I tried four different PDF converters, installed them, but none of them a free and require monthly subscription. I don’t understand why Albert Application cannot handle 4 pages of images in the first place. I just have major frustration at this point. I never experienced such a big issue over withdrawing funds from anywhere. Please do not participate.

Do not let them withhold your cash from you with out your permission. So I set up the Rainy day fund savings with them . Sounded like a convenient way to stash some cash out of sight out of mind , wouldn’t touch it if I don’t have it in my main account . So I started jt , they took money a couple times , but I noticed that I couldn’t do anything with the money they took? I couldn’t even transfer it between checking and savings in their own app. When questioned they said to allow 3-6 business days , ok this was day 3 , I checked the next day , same issue , the next day same issues and finally I was reassured that since the next day would be the 6th business day that I would be allowed to move my money…. Nope …. And when asked about it they smuggly said “today is day 6 so we are still within the time frame specified, check back tomorrow but don’t contact us again unless it’s not available by the completion of the business day tomorrow (which would be 7 days)” are you kidding me ? I just got told to “shut up and stop asking us about your money” by an app that I was paying for the service like an idiot. They hold your money do they can use it for investing and to collect interest on it , they hold it as long as possible regardless of your situation and will give smug answers while you can do nothing . Apps a joke . All the positive reviews must be paid for or employee written . Don’t let them fraudulently withhold your money too , you’ve been warned . Next stop BBB

I have had this app since 2019 and I just love it. It has done everything I’ve wanted it to. I have loved every feature they’ve put out over the years, though I do miss how accessible spending analytics and categories used to be. But I love Albert. It’s very helpful for me we to see all my financials in one place, but have them all accessed separately. It’s allowed me to organize my savings in the ways I’d like too, while also managing and budgeting my spending for each month. It’s customer service is great too! I once had an auto-save pull from my account that shouldn’t have, putting my checking negative and causing my bank to charge me a fee. I messaged Albert about it and they immediately reversed the transaction and reimbursed me the bank fee, no questions asked! Never had such great experience banking!If I had one complaint it would be the processing periods on just about everything. I understand that bank transfers to and from a third party are going to take time, but I’ve had them take almost two weeks before which is extremely inconvenient when budgeting and moving money around. This also applies to how up-to-date Albert is with my personal bank account information. It takes quite a few days for spending or transfers (even to Albert) to reflect on the app and it just makes things clunky and inconvenient. I would love to see this minimized.Other than that, again, I love this app! Love the subscription style, it’s features, it’s customer service. Albert is just fantastic!

I wanna start off by saying you can use other apps such as EARNIN ,EMPOWER, and DAVE. The same apps will give you access to funds without hidden agendas hidden fees, and and just downright lies even though you have to pay a small fee at least you know what you’re getting upfront. I downloaded this app a week ago and I’ve never once taken an advance out because it didn’t give me the amount that I needed it. I immediately tried to uninstall the app once I realize it would not give me the event I needed it I had already linked to my the steps as of today they have removed $63 out of my account that I do not even have which has created an overdraft as soon as I realize that I got on the customer service and ask them to remove situation they say they cannot again. I did not use any advance. Therefore, nothing should’ve been taken out of my account. They refusing to help me saying there’s nothing they can do about it and now I have to call my banking institution. This app is not helpful. If you were looking for an honest go loan between paychecks. This is not it please please please look somewhere else. I’m giving it five stars so that this will appear in front of everybody. Instead of being in the back with all the one stars, I understand most people don’t go to one stars when they’re looking for alone, but this is not it. It will only hurt you more.
