The game is fun!

And once you start playing, it can be very addicting! Lol I rated it a 4 tho just bc I think it can improve a little in some areas.For example: 1: When playing online, you should be allowed to “nudge” the other player. Maybe just remind them they’re playing against someone else? It’s so frustrating to wait days to make another move or find out the other player just forfeited. 2: There is no scoring system and updates with more levels appear few and far between. This caused me to just delete it. Between waiting forever for online players to play back, and not being allowed to play solo, it just takes up too much space. 3: Their preprogrammed dictionary, should allow a broader range of acceptable words. I’ve used words I KNOW are real, and in this particular game for some reason they’re not allowed.Beyond this, this game is great! I’m a big fan of the original scrabble game, but I love how this made it more entertaining with the different Disney characters and secret powers. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Fun, but needs rebalance/bugfixes

Really enjoyable game, puts a fun Disney spin on scrabble. That being said, there's a few outstanding issues: 1. When playing a game against a player who is using Tinkerbell, if they activate her power on their turn, when you go to take your turn, the game soft-locks with the background going grey (as it does when a power is activated) and then just sits there... closing and reopening the app does nothing, it seems the only fix is to win another game (in story mode or daily challenge). 2. The second issue is with Moana's special ability (adds a random letter tile to the board with 20 more points than usual). Every other champion's ability expires at the end of your turn (such as adding 2L/3L spaces, or increasing a number of letter tiles's point value by #). Moana's ability summons that special 20 point letter tile, but the 20 point bonus never goes away; This means your opponent can use it for high-scoring words, and any advantage it may have offered is rendered useless.. this power should be rebalanced to remove the 20 point bonus at the end of your turn. 3. The dictionary is completely out of touch with any other dictionary. I've had the opponent play words like "Honda", but if I play "Moana" it is not accepted, or that I can play the word "Sex", but not "Sexy". 4. There is no timeout for opponents. If they do not take a turn, that match will never end. Implementing a timeout for taking a turn would solve this issue.

I've been playing games like Scrabble, Boggle, Words with Friends, etc for decades, so it's very obvious when something is wrong. This game has potential but the fact that the computer always has full, valuable 5+ letter words available EVERY SINGLE TURN brings it down. It's not realistic and it's not fun, even when I typically win. The computer frequently has 80+ points in the first 2-3 turns and I just as often get handfulls of consonants. This last game for example- the computer had VAGUE, QUIT, BURKE, and LAZY in the first four turns while I had only consonants. One game it had JAZZ and EXPORTS as the first two words. These aren't outliers, it's 80% of the games. You have to play defensively and never take the kind of chances you might against a person because the computer WILL have the exact letters needed to hit the word multipliers every time. If you get ahead, there's a good chance it will activate a special move and toss off a 40-60 point word. The computer also uses archaic words, words from other languages, and proper nouns. There should be a limit to what it can pull from. what is "aurei" what is "oidia" what is "nipa". i love that word "pitot" we all know and use. don't forget "adzuki". "mux". please stop letting the computer pull arcane words and technical terms i've never heard or read in decades as an avid reader.

Buggy and difficult to move forward

After playing through the story mode, the only real point to the game is to play the daily challenges and Blank’s Blitz. Blank’s Blitz is fine, but you have to earn stickers and letters to unlock new characters to be able to play with, but I’m at the point that the only thing I get is all duplicate stickers. I’m really tired of playing towards nothing.Another point of contention is that you NEVER get to go first when playing against the computer player. Once or twice, the computer has passed their turn to switch out tiles and I got to go first by process of elimination. Why not rotate it out, or better yet, let us decide if we want to go first or not. I don’t want to have to play a vs mode game. It takes too many days to get through a game with most people, because we have lives and aren’t all logged in at the same time and playing a contiguous game. As others have said, the game is buggy too. Between the times it freezes my iPad and iPhone requiring me to force quit, and other times it just locks up an M1 iPad and makes it behave like it’s running on dialup. I’m just about ready to uninstall the game based on these points. I’m holding out hope that it gets better.
