Tower Lord – Semi-finalist in the 2014 Goodreads Choice Awards
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to nominate Tower Lord for the Goodreads Choice Awards 2014 in the fantasy category. The awards have now reached the semi-final round and I was surprised to find Tower Lord had been included as it didn’t originally appear in the list of nominations, and has only made it this far because enough people submitted ‘write-in votes’ to ensure its inclusion. The support and encouragement I have received from readers since beginning this whole journey a few years ago has been one of its most rewarding aspects. So, even if Tower Lord doesn’t advance any further in the awards, I already feel like I won something special.
Voting in the semi-final round closes on November 15, with the top 10 books in each category advancing to the next stage. Please take the time to drop by and cast a vote for the book of your choice: https://www.goodreads.com/choiceawards/best-books-2014
and ‘Blood Song’ in Mandarin is…
Thanks to my Taiwanese publisher Fantasy Foundation for making this happen. This version will be available worldwide excluding mainland China.
