Typical high school romance. Everyone is a total amateur with over-the-top reactions. I like it, but I’d like more than just a run-of-the-mill story full of stereotypical characters with simplistic thinking. Personally, I’d like the characters to be more self-assured, not have unnecessary and over-the-top reactions, know how to hold hands, kiss, and give and receive compliments without blushing like tomatoes for no reason, not be unnecessarily jealous, go on dates, but not to cliché places like the movie theater, a pastry shop, the library, the beach, an amusement park, various festivals, and so on. It would be nice to have something that feels more like real life, because I don’t believe that kind of awkward behavior is normal.
The characters philosophize way too much over trivialities, which ended up boring me. The art/animation is good and I liked the OP/ED, but in the end, the plot bored me. for me 6/10

how can you say anything negative about this cuteness? and it comes from me, a person who finds campus stories boring. this show is my weekly healing time.
it is perfect for people who search for a light-hearted story, no melodrama, adorable animation and despite having such a light tone picks up on few things that were a concern for us too at some point, but doesn't make it sound depressing or overly dramatic.
because all characters, including Tani and Suzuki, seems to have their own patterns and concerns, yet at the same time you see how things work out for them slowly with the support of others. and everything is buttered with good vibes.

it's not good to compare, but this show and "Uruwashi.." came out at the same time, yet as much as I was intrigued by the beginning of it, uruwashi very soon spiraled into cliche and melodrama (you guessed I'm bored out of my mind by it). they even called FMC "more girly" when she fell in love.

[Ongoing] Initially, due to their unique character design, I wanted a reason to hate it and drop it.
But nope, this is just sooo adorable. It seems like it'd be shallow, purely cute-sy stuff all around, a ton of gimmicks, or a cheap SoL. But nope, it's not afraid to go into a real social/relationship topics, and the pacing makes all the cutesy stuff more impactful.
And eventually I also started to adore the unique character design. Even tho some shots can still be creepy. Overall all the "gimmicks" over time turns out to be real charms.
