Andrea Tate is an essayist and writing professor at Antioch University where she teaches writing, publishing, and theatre arts in the Individual Master’s of Arts program. She is the faculty director of the student magazine Odyssey Online and the Senior Academic Advisor for the Master’s of Clinical Psychology. Her passion is in nonfiction personal essay and she is interested in everyone’s story which is why she created her continuing education course, A Writing Practice. Andrea’s published essays can be found in Newsweek, L.A. Times, Huff Post, BuzzFeed, Brevity Blog, Hippocampus Magazine, Manifest Station, and more.
