    Im a world war 1 veteran with a good sense of adventure and an even better sense of god. My fantasies often include hobbits, and dwarves. I like to add in elves and humans though so people dont think im weird.( orcs are elves, read the lore) I enjoy long drags of my pipe and a good scripture reading, but i dont put religion in my books. I simply show the paths of right and wrong, and allow the reader to choose what path theyll take.

    This boxed set is a fantastic way to revisit a familiar favourite. The books themselves are masterpieces: epic, imaginative, and full of heart. If you’ve read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings before, this is the perfect edition to own.

    The box is sturdy, the cover illustrations are lovely, and overall it feels like great value for money. A wonderful gift or keepsake for any Tolkien fan.

    Having been a fan of the LOTR films (extended cut all the way!), it was about time I read this brilliant collection of stories for myself. Currently, I'm only on the second chapter of the Hobbit, but in terms of the quality of the physical books, I was very impressed with the boxset. It makes for a great collection piece and at a reasonable £23.00, I consider it good value for money. Each book has a gorgeous layout for the covers and is a great size for those on the go readers. This is all I can say for now, I'd highly recommend these books for those new to the Tolkien world. The delivery was a pleasant surprise, as I ordered them on the Thursday and they arrived on the Friday (they weren't supposed to arrive until the following Tuesday) so this was very impressive especially as I don't have Amazon Prime. Highly recommend, take a read!
