Normal use for navigation, email, internet searches, WhatsApp messages, WhatsApp calls, and apps like Instagram and Snapchat do not involve the Fair Use Policy. However, the Fair Use Policy can be activated with, for example, extreme use of YouTube, TikTok, streaming services like Netflix, and online TV viewing, especially when multiple people share the connection via a hotspot or router. No refunds will be issued in case of violations of the Fair Use Policy.

Whatsapp with sim card Italy

All Internet-based calls such as Whatsapp, Skype and FaceTime are of course also possible with the SIM cards for Italy. You will then use the data bundle on the sim card. You can always continue to use Whatsapp with your own existing contacts, groups and chats. After inserting a prepaid sim card, Whatsapp may ask if you want to create a new identity or if everything should stay as it was. If so, choose the latter and nothing will change. You can then continue to send messages and make calls with Whatsapp as usual.

Coverage in Italy

Coverage of the mobile networks is generally excellent in Italy. This is especially true in major cities such as Roma, Florence, Venice and Milan. In very remote natural areas there may be somewhat less coverage. Otherwise, there is good coverage in all villages and towns with SIM cards for Italy.

How do I install the SIM card Italy in my phone?

Open the slider on the side of the phone. You can do this with the pin that came with the phone. If you don’t have this you can make one by bending a paper clip. Airport Telecom sim cards also come with an extra pin.
