I just found an alternative: MakeACopy it's on G'play as well as on FDroid

I did not try Opencamera as scanner. I use Microsoft Lens for scanning. Does anyone have an open source alternative for that?

On my Galaxy S22+, the menu shows all cameras (screenshot) except when the ultrawide is selected (screenshot). Then, only after selecting the automatic ("Hauptkamera"), then reentering the selection menu all cameras are shown again.

I can confirm "Anonymous" findings on my Galaxy S22+ with Android 14 (see screenshot). The camera choosing icon is not available on the Galaxy A14 (2 cameras, Android 14).
