There are three distribution files: - The source code, which lets you build binaries for almost every platform a GCC compiler exists (including linux and OSX). - A .zip with just the Windows binaries (two .exe files) that you can just copy anywhere you want, including the previous installation directory. - a .msi file with is a installer that will copy the binaries to the usual Program Files directory in windows. There's no difference between using the installer to copy the binaries or doing it yourself. The installer does nothing special. 0.63 ---- - Telext support added, by integrating Petr Kutalek's telxcc. Integration is still quite basic (there's equivalent code from both CCExtractor and telxcc) and some clean up is needed, but it works. Petr has announced that he's abandoning telxcc so further development will happen directly in CCExtractor. - Some bug fixes, as usual.
