Hello,
I had a problem with the size of root lvm partition where Oreka database is located. I extended the partition but there are no entries in the database for that time. Recordings are in place on another partition. My question is how can I recreate database entries from the files?

We have cucm version 9.0.
Is it possible to records call?
We currently have a problem recording. 
The local party and remote party are beeing shown as IP not extension.

if yes, you have to create a source and destination port in the switch,
then take a server with oreka installed on it and plug the server NIC to
destination port, once the RTP traffic hit the server you will be able to
record all calls in and out,

I would need your help to understand how oreka works. My company is now looking to record calls. At the moment we have 13 extensions and one phone line. Calls happen via Bria (Softphone). There is no pbx or any server. Im just wondering how oreka will work for us

Oreka supports compact SIP out of the box. It might be that compiling the
latest svn version fixes your problem. If not, you can send me a pcap trace
offline.

The partition that the recorded files are stored on it is becoming full while the other partition is still almost free as shown in the below result:

What is the solution?Is it to re-sizing the partition or to change the storing location?If to change the storing location to be on the large partition, I see it mounted on /home, so it means that any thing will be stored under home will be belongs to the large partition? In this case, I have to change the path of storing the recorded files to be under /home directory or I have to re-size the partition to extend it by taking from the other partition?

RTP payload type:110 is not usually an audio codec. It could be that what
you have captured with orkaudio is missing audio.
It's hard to tell without the orkaudio logs of when this call was captured
and/or a pcap trace.

i have done what you told me (change the computer name by his private ip in
orkservice table), and the issue was half solved, i mean when i access
orkweb by using VPN then i can read audio files, but when i publish orkweb
and access it from internet i cannot read audio files, any case i thank you
very much for your help

how are you doing Mr Henry,,,,

i'm sure that the full RTP traffic reach my NIC, because i replay a
wireshark snapshot and i heard both side of the call clearly, therefor the
issue of one side recording call is caused by oreka audio, it cannot
retrieve full RTP traffic

is there any configuration that has to be made in the conf file ???

Hello,

 

I have everything setup correctly and playing. However a strange problem is
occurring.

When I attempt to play using IE9 from OrkWeb the recordings sound funny and
as if you are on a bad cell phone connection. If I download the file on my
PC and play it, I can hear the recorded WAV very well. I am using GSM format
in OrkAudio config. What is wrong here?

This is in the MySQL databse, it's not a file. You can edit it with via SQL
statements or use any graphical interface that can connect to the MySQL
database.

It depends on the underlying telephony platform. What are you using? Cisco
Skinny? SIP? Something else?

This could be due to the RTP for the other direction completely missing
from the port mirroring feed.
A pcap trace of an external inbound calls might be able to tell us this.
