Hi,

I have installed Oreka Audio and Orkweb in system with  IP Softphone on
itself and want to record all traffic of this IP Softphone which is
connected to L2 switch Cisco 2960.
But i am not getting any traffic in Orkweb.

What I have done for it:
1. Configured Apache Tomcat with mysql.
2. Configured Port monitoring on L2 Switch.
3. Installed Orkaudio and orkweb in System which haing IP softphone on
itself.

In the most situations the localParty is the local phone extension, but sometimes the localParty is identified as IP Address instead of local phone extension.  Is this caused by the PBX?
 
We have Aastra mxOne as PBX.

The expireTimestamp seems to always be short period of time after the hangup of the conversation. Is the expiryTimestamp the actual time for the last sip message, and not the end of the call?

Oreka should work fine with CUCM 9.0, are you sure that your port mirroring
catches the skinny traffic successfully?

In order to know that, fire up wireshark, capture some traffic on the right
NIC, then use the "skinny" display filter.

[HH] This is hard to avoid, since Oreka sees the two legs and cannot easily
know that they are the same call. One thing you could do maybe is to filter
via PcapFilter if you know which IPs you want or which IPs you do not want.

[HH] On SIP systems, by default, local party is always the calling party
and remote party is always the called party.

If you want correct local and remote party detection, you need to instruct
orkaudio what IP address(es) are the references. I.e. if an INVITE comes
from one of these IP addresses, the call is inbound. If an INVITE goes to
one of these IP addresses, the call is outboud.

E.g, if your SIP proxies are 65.34.98.56 and 65.34.98.57, you need to add
the following configuration parameter to your config.xml under <VoIpPlugin>:
<SipDirectionReferenceIpAddresses>65.34.98.56,
65.34.98.57</SipDirectionReferenceIpAddresses>

And restart OrkAudio.

I set the path for AudioOutputPath to be: /home/var/log/orkaudio/audio instead of /var/log/orkaudio/audio. It is storing in the new updated path which is /home/var/log/orkaudio/audio but when we need to hear the call from the web browser, still it is trying to download the file from the old path as following:

So, how to update this path that is used by the javascript:play to be able to update from the new path instead of the old path to be able to hear the file?

I wonder if anyone of you have had experiences setting up the oreka (open source) database in sql server, and installing jdbc driver for MSSQL and changing the hibernate settings appropriate for MSSQL, in the database.hbm.xml file?

mirroring. The Oreka server is listening to all the mirrored traffic.
All of the calls are recorded when some one outside our network calls in.
When we call out, only our side is recorded, the person we called isn't
recorded. However, I did notice that about 5% of the time, the person we
called was recorded for some reason.
I also have wireshark installed on the Oreka server, and I was able to
listen to the 2 way audio of an rtp capture when we called out, so I know
the packets are getting there.

Any help anyone has would be great.
