Yup, I found it. I had a different version of libpcap than it wanted. It wanted libpcap.so.0.8.3 I have libpcap.so.0.9.4 so I created a symbolic link from 0.8.3 to 0.9.4 and it seems to be working... =20 ________________________________ From: Henri Herscher [mailto:he...@or...]=20 Sent: Tuesday, October 31, 2006 2:12 PM To: Adam Kavan; ore...@li... Hi Joel, Are you sure Orktrack is not running ? Just try to stick the following URL into your browser and see if orktrack responds: http://localhost:8080/orktrack/command?cmd=ping If yes, it's probably a case of orkaudio not reporting the recordings to orktrack (you need to set <EnableReporting> to true in config.xml). Hi Craig,
It depends what version you are using. Older orig files could be alaw or
ulaw wav files. In this case, all you need to do is to rename them to .wav
and they should play in WMP.
Newer ones are always in "mcf" (Media Chunk Format) format which is a raw
dump of the RTP packets with added metadata. These ones can be converted to
wav by using the SVN 0.6 branch (HEAD) which has not been released yet, I'm
afraid you need to compile it yourself for now ("orkaudio help" will give
you the syntax).
Cheers
Henri

Subject: [Oreka-user] Converting .orig files to wav \ mp3
Is there a way to convert the .orig files created on a Windows PC to a wav
or mp3 without using OrkWeb and OrkTrack.
If not, can you suggest how this might be accomplished? i.e. what format is
the .orig file in? is there any software out there that could read these
files?
Many Thanks.

Hi Steve, If you want to do this, all you need is to move the following line of code: Reporting::GetInstance()->AddAudioTape(audioTapeRef); In BatchProcessing.cpp, line 271, to just after the next curly brace and then recompile. I intend to make it configurable but that's the quick solution. Cheers Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi All, OrkAudio 0.5-313 has been released. The changelog is as follows: * Added supports Cisco CallManager 5 signalling * Added IP address and address range filtering capability * Added support for MPLS and 802.Q VLAN traffic * Local Party now always reported as local IP address if emtpy * Added local and remote IP addresses reporting * Improved SIP detection * Improved Cisco Skinny detection * Configurable queue sizes for high load systems * Added ability to replay an entire directory worth of pcap traces * Recording duration now more precise * Fixed a number of problems that could lead to one sided, garbled or saturated recordings * Fixed memory leak * Redundant RTP packets now detected and discarded * Improved robustness with more packet sanity checking Cheers Henri |

Hi Steve, As the last line says, you're trying to transcode a captured call that had RTP payload type 18 as the wire format. This is G.729A which is a proprietary codec. You need to license the commercial version of Oreka if you want to do this. Regards Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi Richard, It is possible to do this. Just download the jtds JDBC driver from here: http://jtds.sourceforge.net Put it into your Tomcat/shared/lib folder, then edit your c:\oreka\orktrack\mysql.hbm.xml and c:\oreka\orkweb\mysql.hbm.xml and have something like the following. Is it possible to use an MSSQL or MSDE database for the system. I would rather have only one database server installed on my new box rather that having MYSql and MSSQL and seeing as one of my core systems needs MSSQL it seems a logical step to take. If you can, does anyone out there have the methods of installing using anMSSQL backend. Thanks Richard. |

Debian install from sourceforge = orkaudio-0.5-2-ubuntu-5.04-i386-binary-DEBs.tar Capturing SIP(Vonage) and Cisco (Skinny). Is there a way to record the ITU-T G.721 (I now understand this is = reffered to as G.726) streams? Does this require a special Codec? If so, could someone tell me how to = install it? |

Hi, thanks a lot. Unfortunately I'm very busy those days and can't do net c=
aptures.
But when I can I'll try again and if the error occurs I'll tell you.
Now the only I can give you are the logs of a SIP conversation between 2 SI=

Anyway, I soppose it would be more usegul the pcap capture (that doesn't ex=
ist unfortunatelly), so when I'll repeat the process I'll do the capture,
try to understand the problem and tell you.
Thanks again and regards.

Hi Inaki, Thanks for the very detailed report. This is expected. The reason for = this is that Asterisk terminates the RTP streams from both endpoints. That = means the media stream as seen from the Asterisk server is like this: Phone1 IPa,Port1 <-> IPb, Port3 Asterisk IPb, Port4 <-> Phone2 Ipc, = Port5. Which is actually two separate media streams. In the tradiotional SIP = model, you would only have a Phone1 <-> Phone2 media path. If you get external (TDM) calls, you'll only get one record. As for the firefox issue, we would need to look into using the Windows = Media Player plugin for firefox to emulate what's done with the Windows Media Player ActiveX object under IE.=20 Cheers Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi Inaki, This is pretty strange because the app was developed with MySQL 4.1. Not sure what to make of this but I'm using MySQL 5.0 as well now, so I = might just change the manual if it is confirmed that there is a problem with = MySQL 4.1. Sorry, what I want to mean here is that if I've "oreka" db created and star= t=20 Tomcat its tables are generated (but empty all of them). But if a change th= e=20 mysql root password in config files (without tables in "oreka" db) and star= t=20 Tomcat then the tables are not created. Because of it I think it's not privileges problem.
