Hi, What triggers orkaudio to cut and remove a recording on the <TapeDurationMinimumSec> is set in the config.xml? Is it the RTP packets? Could some disturbance in the RTP mess up this check? We have noticed that some calls is cut on the <TapeDurationMinimunSec> even if the conversation is longer? For ex. we had <TapeDurationMinimumSec>20</TapeDurationMinimumSec>, and for a 150 sec conversation it still cut and removed the conversation at 20 sec. Regards Nils |

Hi, Is possible to do any setting in oreka so that it start the recording on answer, instead as now already on when calling the remote party? Or is this an effect of how the pbx is SIP signaling when connecting the remote party and trunking it out on network (mostly internet these days)? 1. dialing -> 2. calling -> 3. answer The recording starts on calling state, not as it should on the answer state. I am using Oreka GPL to record calls of from a Avaya PBX. I have the
completed setup done.
Now, as far my understanding goes, Oreka should be able to capture all the
data coming to the device it is monitoring.
But in my case, Oreka is only able to record one side of the conversation,
customer side conversation. It records all calls after the call is
transferred to someone else form agent side.
Also, I did some checking and turned off shuffling on Avaya PBX for a
extension. Now that extension, is recording both sides of conversation.
Basically, I want to know :
1. Why Oreka is not able to record both side of conversation.
2. After Call is transferred to another agent, Than how come it can
record both side conversation.
3. What is happening when shuffling is disabled, so it can record the
calls easily.
4. Is it limitation of Oreka.
5. Is there something I am missing, or is there any work around for
this case.
I would be very glad if you can help me with this.

Seems like orkweb 1.7 not seeing mysql in centos 7. there is no mysql-server package in centos 7 since it has been replaced in mariadb. however trying to install mysql manually packages, i see the package name is mysql-community-server which i can install fine by the install script for orkweb is only wants to see mysql-server. will this be fixed or is it being supported in centos 7? should i use centos 6.x instead? thanks |
