You need to compile the latest sources from svn and use the following.

Setting up audio file ownership and permissions under Linux:
You need to add the following parameters to config.xml:
<AudioFilePermissions>0600</AudioFilePermissions>
<AudioFileOwner>apache</AudioFileOwner>
<AudioFileGroup>apache</AudioFileGroup>
And restart orkaudio

Subject: [Oreka-user] orkaudio folder permissions
I have orkaudio 0.5-313 installed on a linux centos 4.8 machine. The
program is working great but the problem is the folders generated by
orhaudio to save the recordings only have root permissions for access.
Is it possible to to configure orkaudio so that the recording folders it
generates are accessible by anyone/everyone?
