I have not actually confirmed this bug in latest CVS, but I don't remember
fixing it. I'm making the assumption that it's broken.

Anyways, yeah. I'm going to lean towards your comment that it's just not a nice
thing. I'll get right on this and see about getting it fixed in 0.3.7 :). It's
a rather simple fix, actually (until the + or - bit is set, ignore the modes).
