I suppose this is an error.
On the cvs page you write:
-------------------
When prompted for a password for anonymous, simply
press the Enter key. ....
cvs
-d:pserver:anonymous@collective.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/collective
login
-------------------
When I on my linuxbox try to login, access is denied:
------------------
When prompted for a password for anonymous, simply
press the Enter key. To determine the names of the
modules created by this project, you may examine their
CVS repository via the provided web-based CVS
repository viewer.
cvs
-d:pserver:anonymous@collective.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/collective
login
---------------------
I have tried many variations the command without
success. I have tried svn without success, too. I have
no problems with logging in and checkout with other
sourceforge project, cvs as well as svn. E.g. subtext.
If you deliberately have removed the anonymous access
opportunity, please, write this on the CVS page. Else,
please, revise the instruction. Or, please, fix the
bug. I have spend a lot of time on nothing.
